Story time with Nana

When my mother recently came face to face with the reality that her health was heading in the wrong direction, it forced her to reflect deeply on what truly matters. With her own mother having passed away at a young age, she understood the weight of time and the importance of leaving something meaningful behind. Rather than focus on what she might lose, she turned her attention to what she could give—something lasting and full of love. For her, that gift was her voice, her warmth, and the countless stories she’s read to her grandkids over the years.

Determined to leave behind something beautiful, she began recording herself reading all the books she has ever shared—and dreams of sharing—with her grandchildren. From bedtime tales to silly adventures, each video is filled with her familiar voice, laughter, and love. Her grandkids have fallen in love with the idea that “Nana Stories” can now travel with them—whether they’re snuggled in bed at home, on the road in the camper, or halfway across the country. It’s more than just storytime now—it’s a living memory, a connection they’ll carry with them always.
